The Welsh Traditional Karate Association

The WTKF is a professionally run organization with passionate long-serving instructors demonstrating high levels of technical skills, which they combine with a friendly, caring attitude. The WTKF together with England and Scotland form the United Kingdom Traditional Karate Federation (UKTKF) which has Sensei Kawasoe as it's Chief Instructor and Grading Examiner. The UKTKF is in turn part of the International Traditional Karate Federation ITKF which until his death in 2008 had Master Nishiyama as the Chief Instructor

The benefits to the individual on joining the WTKF are:

• access to top level courses with instructors such as Senseis' Kawasoe, Shira, Ochi, Tsuyama and Naito
• all grading examinations conducted personally by Sensei Kawasoe giving the assurance that your grade will be recognized worldwide
