Mark Kupsz

Mark started karate in 1972 and has been involved with many clubs since that time. He was fortunate to train under many of the best Japanese instructors that the U.K. had to offer; including Masters' Enoeda, Asano, and Kato, all graded 7th Dan or above and all a product of the infamous Japan Karate Association, Instructors Class. In addition he also trained under and was graded by top ranking British instructors. He currently studies under Sensei Masao Kawasoe (8th Dan) who is Chief Instructor for the Welsh Traditional Karate Federation to which the club is affiliated.Mark is also a registered instructor with the Welsh Karate Governing Body and has written articles for Shotokan Magazine.

Mark has been responsible for training 100's of students in many different countries, most of whom started as beginners and went on to achieve black belts. He has taken part in and hosted numerous tournaments. As per the requirement of the WKGB, Mark has all the necessary coaching qualifications as well as the mandatory CRB disclosure, personal indemnity insurance and first aid certification.

Chris Isaac

Chris took up the study of karate in 1992, and has had the privilege of training under many top UK instructors. He has also studied other styles of karate and martial arts including Wado Ryu, Kick Boxing, Judo and Aikido. His numerous years working in personal protection affords him much practical experience of self-defence techniques and streetwise tactics. To this end he regularly attends seminars in pressure-point fighting. Chris is also well versed in the science of body building and conditioning.
