Tiny Tigers fees are £3.50 per session. Gym membership is NOT required to attend Tiny Tiger lessons.

The club operates a fixed fee system with two payment options, either once-weekly training for £20 per month or unlimited training for £40 a month. Discounts are available for family groups of two or more. Gym membership is NOT required to attend karate lessons.

New members are charged £40 for a 10 lesson beginner's course, this includes the 1st lesson free. After completing the beginners course students are asked to commit to joining the club by opting into the fixed payment system and purchasing a suit, club badge, training guide CD and association licence.

Training Required To Be Eligible For Grading Exams

  • ·Going For 9th kyu (red belt) = 15 lessons
  • ·Going For 8th / 7th kyu (orange & yellow belt) = 20 lessons
  • ·Going For 6th / 5th kyu (green & purple belt) = 25 lessons
  • ·Going For 4th / 3rd kyu (purple/white & brown belt) = 30 lessons
  • ·Going For 2nd / 1st kyu (brown & brown/white) = 35 lessons
  • ·Going For 1st Dan (black) = 100 lessons, minimum 12 months training and attendance at 6 courses with Sensei Kawasoe
  • Attendance Incentive Scheme

    In order to achieve a high standard of performance it is important that students aged 8+ train regularly. Ideally each member of the club should aim for an average attendance of 1.5 – 2 times a week. As a way of encouraging frequent attendance BSKC operates an attendance incentive scheme. The works by rewarding each occasion a member of the club attends twice or more in any given week. For each such occasion the student receives 1 attendance credit. Credits gained are totalled each month and when a sufficient number have been gained they can be exchanged for merchandise, free lessons etc, as detailed in the list below:
